Posting Prompts for Sales People

"Why do I have to post on LinkedIn? I’m NOT in marketing, I’m in sales."

Ok, I get it. You’re in charge of growth, not creative writing.

But remember—you have more expertise and insight into your prospect’s world than anyone else. You understand their pain points and how to solve them.

LinkedIn isn’t optional anymore. Decision-makers are active there every day, the platform keeps growing, and if you don’t have a clear social-selling strategy, you’re leaving opportunity on the table—big time.

It’s not enough to be a professional reposter anymore. You know what I mean—grabbing a piece of company content and hitting repost with no comment, no insight, no point of view.

That leaves your buyer thinking less of you, not more.

My goal is to help you stand out, build credibility + book more meetings.

And that starts with sharing educational, insightful, compelling stories about your product or service – from YOUR voice.

I’m committed to giving you writing prompts designed specifically for sales people and founders —so you can stay focused, show up strong, and leave a positive impression on your buyers, colleagues, and leadership.

You want to look like a rockstar, right...?

This Week’s Prompt:

Post About Your Recent Client Conversations

You’re having valuable conversations with clients every week—conversations your prospects would love to learn from. You don’t need to mention names or companies. Just start with the ideas below, add your genuine experience, load it into ChatGPT with a simple prompt, like, "turn this into a compelling LinkedIn post" and bam, you have your post for Monday.

**Just make sure you have a good, short hook so they click the "read more".

Try these client-conversation prompts for your next post:

“I was on a call with a client yesterday and they said <outrageous claim>, here is how I responded…”

“My client was completely stuck, believing <false belief>, until I showed them, <solution>”.

“I hear <objection> a lot from <client type>, but I overcome that with these 3 points…”

Your prospect is the hero, not you. They want to see how you solve problems for people like them—and they want to learn from you long before they ever book a meeting. Share simple real-life stories, and always make it clear:

• What you do
• Who you do it for

Don’t assume they know—spell it out in every post. Add a simple photo of yourself (bonus if it’s with a client), hit publish, and respond quickly to comments.

Cheers! Now, let's get hunting...
