It's the Stories that Connect Us
Dec 27, 2025
Do you have a LinkedIn post ready to publish this week?
If not, you should...every week, to stay visible. Remember, in B2B sales, prospects buy from people, not brands.
As a salesperson, you matter now, more than ever.
In years past posting was all about thought leadership. But today, the reality is:
Thought leadership is tired.
Thought-provoking is what gets engagement.
And the easiest way to do that — even if you sell a commodity — is to tell better stories.
Stories That Sell
Share the moments that shifted your perspective.
Your best content won’t come from a marketing deck. It comes from real life:
- a lesson learned the hard way
- a conversation that changed your thinking
- a mistake that gave you clarity
Prospects don’t need polished. They want insight they can’t get anywhere else about their industry challenges.
...even if you make a tipo ;).
A Simple Challenge for This Week
Pick one prompt and turn it into a LinkedIn post:
- What’s a lesson you learned the hard way in sales?
- Where do you see a problem your industry ignores?
- What did you believe about business five years ago that you no longer believe today?
If you want to build relationships, pipeline, and visibility on LinkedIn, focus on sounding human with something meaningful to say.
That credibility is often what gets a prospect to say “yes” to the next meeting— and getting the meeting is the whole game.

Here’s what one student shared about the workshop:
“I recently attended Stacey Wong’s LinkedIn Workshop, and it completely reframed how I approach LinkedIn. Stacey doesn’t just teach you how to “sell” — she teaches you how to maximize LinkedIn to add value and authenticity as you build a pipeline of potential clients. Her framework helps you turn connections into meaningful conversations that naturally lead to opportunities. I walked away with clear, actionable strategies for finding the right people, engaging with purpose, and showing up consistently as a trusted voice in my space. If you’re looking to grow your business or influence through LinkedIn, I highly recommend Stacey’s workshop." - Kyle Nelson, Business Coach.
